European mobility for training - "EUROFORM"

OBJECTIVE

The aim of the programme is to meet the demands for improvement in the quality and innovation of education, training and employment systems in the province of Como, through opportunities for cooperation and exchanges between professionals already working within a network in the local area. 

Aim

• Improve the quality and increase the volume of cooperation on a European level between institutes and organisations offering learning opportunities, businesses and social partners;
• facilitate the development of innovative practices in the field of education and vocational training and the sharing of those practices with European and Italian partners participating in the project;
• improve transparency and the system adopted for the recognition of qualifications and skills, including those acquired through non-formal and informal learning;
• encourage experimentation through engagement in technical-methodological discussions and the acquisition of new knowledge/skills to offer the participants involved and their sending organizations new models of management in areas such as training and employment orientation, accompanying and supporting work experience and job placements, preventing early school leaving and promoting job placements in the labour market for vulnerable members of society.

The project uses the sharing of good practices as a methodological tool for introducing innovation.

  Final workshop
  
  As required by the programme, on completion of the exchanges, the agency organised a final workshop, entitled Comparing European experiences: sharing and comparing, to present and assess the experience gained from the project. An Italian partner for each of the exchanges completed attended the workshop, which was held on 18th February 2010 in the lecture hall of the Agency for Training, Orientation and Employment for the province of Como - C.F.P.
